Fetch Rules now require permissions
We have just made an important change to how Fetch Rules work. Now when a GrexIt Admin sets up Fetch Rules to pull email discussions from a user's inbox, the user is asked for permission. The idea is to make Fetch Rules completely permission driven, so that GrexIt does not pull in anything from a user's email inbox unless they have given permission explicitly.
This is exactly how it works:
- When a GrexIt Admin sets up a Fetch Rule, they can select the users under their domain on which the Fetch Rule would apply.
- GrexIt emails these users to ask for their permission to fetch the discussions from their email inbox which have the label for which the Fetch Rule is set up by the Admin.
- Users can choose to allow or deny access to GrexIt to access discussions with those labels.
- Users can see their permissions for all their email inbox labels on which Fetch Rules have been set by going to "My Settings"->"Rules".
